Location: The John Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab – Laurel, MD
DOD Clearance:
· No clearance required
· Candidate may be subject to background investigation and drug screening
· Candidate must hold U.S. citizenship
Expected Job Duties:
· Collect trash from offices, restrooms, and lobbies. (25%)
· Vacuum and perform carpet cleaning services. (25%)
· Mop floors (restrooms, stairwells, and lobbies) (25%)
· Dust and wipe furniture and vents. (25%)
Environment:
· Campus environment
· Cleaning offices, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, stairwells.
Schedule:
· Mon-Friday / 5:30am to 2:00pm
Required:
· Must have at least one year commercial janitorial experience.
· Must be capable of lifting and moving moderately heavy objects approximately 50 pounds or less.
· Safety shoes
Desirable:
· Use of buffer
