Susquehanna University Choir to Perform in Ellicott City
The internationally known Susquehanna University Choir of Selinsgrove, PA will perform a concert at First Lutheran Church, 3604 Chatham Rd. at Frederick, at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5.
The Choir, a highly select group of student choral musicians will perform under the direction of Cyril Stretansky, Professor of Music at Susquehanna. This is one of seven stops in this farewell tour for Maestro Stretansky, who is retiring at the end of this academic year.
In recent years the choir has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Mexico. The choir has been featured nationally and internationally on National Public Radio, the Armed Forces Network, Satellite Radio Network and the Lutheran Series of the Protestant Hour.
The concert is open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken.
